The Old Way Is Not Sufficient

Genesis 3:21 - "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them."

Hebrews 9:22 - "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."

Back when God first made mankind, Adam and Eve, they sinned. They tried to cover up their sin and nakedness by sowing fig leaves together and hiding under a tree.

When they sinned, God knew what had happened and realized what would happen to them because of that. The figs that they used were not good enough. God killed animals, shedded their blood, to make them clothes of skin. He had to shed blood, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

Then Everyone started being evil and wicked, and God looked upon the earth. He saw Noah and his family, and that they were the only ones that served Him. He told Noah to build an Ark, because he would flood the earth and kill on the people, but saved him and his family. He also had Noah get the animals on the Ark.

Noah, built the Ark and he did preach to the people about what would happen. The people didn't listen and got destroyed as was said by God, because of their wickedness. They had a chance to get saved, but refused it.

Then after that, God gave the people the Law. Where His people would have to offer up sacrifice once a year for a sin offering, an attonement (covering) for their sins.

Hebrews 9:7 - "But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:"

God knew that would not be sufficient enough to save them from their sins.

Hebrews 9:8 - "The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:"

This means God was not yet revealed, only the High priest could enter into the Holies of Holies, the back place in the tabernacle, to offer attonement for sin. Since the first was still there, this old way, Jesus was not yet come.

God had planned from beginning to send his son Jesus to save the world.

Genesis 3:15 - "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

This is the prophecy that speaks of Jesus saving the world, crushing Satan bruising his head. Where God says, "thou shalt bruise his heel," is speaking of Jesus' death upon the cross, Satan bruising Jesus.

God knew that He had to send his only begotten Son.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Jesus love us so much, that he died for us. They crucified him on the cross. He paid the price for our sins, he suffered hell for us so we would not have to. He felt that separation from God, that a sinner will feel at the judgment when God says Depart, be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Jesus loves us, and he does not want us to go to hell. All one has to do is just ask Jesus into his heart and confess that he is Lord.

Romans 10:9-13 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

That is why God said in 1 John 5:11,12 that he who has the Son has life, and he who has not the Son of God has not life.

1 John 5:11,12 - "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

And Jesus said, before he went back to God the Father, "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

There is not place in the world that will not hear the Gospel before the End Comes. God says in Matthew 24:14,

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

The world will have time (a chance) to accept Jesus and hear the Gospel before the End comes.

I just hope and pray that you are ready, and have accepted Jesus into your heart before it is too late.

Literally, there is not a place on this earth not receiving the Gospel. TBN has satellites around the world preaching the Gospel (the good news) of Jesus Christ. That is one of the signs (Matthew 24:14) that the End is near.

The End is the "End of the Age of Grace." When Jesus came to earth and died for our sins and rose again, and went back at the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19; Acts 1:9), it became known as the "Age of Grace," because we are saved by the Grace of God, through his son Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

Yet, there will come a time when the "Age of Grace" will End. It will not an end of the world, The earth is a world without end (Isaiah 45:17; Ephesians 3:21). The Rapture will take place (1 Thess. 4:16-18; Revelation 4:1; 1 Corinthians 15:52), Jesus will take up the church to be with him. The Rapture will happen in the twinkling of the eye...that fast. The Seven Years Tribulation (Revelation chapters 6-18) will take place upon the earth, which will be the end of the Age of Grace. God will pour out his wrath upon the People. There are some that still can get saved during that time...

But that is not a time anyone would want to be saved, esp. with all the pain and suffering going on. It will be worse than the pain and suffering we have now.

I pray you are ready to be with Jesus, before it is too late.
