The Garments You Wear

"Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee." (Leviticus 19:19)
"[N]either shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee."

According to that Levitical law it is a sin to wear a garment mingled of linen and woollen (or polyster blinds as others may say).

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" (Matthew 6:25) "Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?" (Matthew 6:27,28a)

"And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment." (Luke 12:22,23)

Jesus did away with the Levitical law of Leviticus chapter 19 verse 19. It does not matter what we wear, yet it must be modest (see 1 Tim. 2:9, et al.).
